All the Things I Wanted to Tell You
Savina Ražnatović and Michele Cusolito
(Durational performance, video documentation, collaborative artist book)
This project reflects on what it means to have a meaningful conversation in a time of constant digital availability, where connection is immediate yet often emotionally hollow. Borrowing the structure of contemporary messaging, two artists seated across from one another, Savina Ražnatović and Michele Riedel Cusolito exchange a single sheet of paper, writing everything they were unable or unwilling to say before. Each sentence is read in the immediate presence of the other. Nothing can be edited, deleted, or withdrawn.
The conversation itself remains private. The viewer encounters only the documentation of the performance, the only visible traces of an intimate exchange. The work insists on duration, reciprocity, and the act of staying, exploring what may emerge when two people choose to remain present. The exchange continues until its emotional intensity becomes unbearable for one of the participants.
